Spain goalkeeper David De Gea has vehemently denied any involvement in an ongoing sexual assault investigation, reading a prepared statement Friday in reaction to a report that he was responsible for organising an abusive, non-consensual sexual encounter with prostitutes for two teammates in 2012, while he was a member of Spain's Under-21 team.

"This is in the hands of my lawyers now. I am very relaxed and nothing else. It is all false. Nothing much more I can say," the Manchester United goalkeeper said.

De Gea also confirmed he will remain with the team for Euro 2016, saying: "I'm still very relaxed, just want to train and do what I like to do. I just want the tournament to start and to play."

Earlier on Friday, court documents published by Spanish daily El Diario revealed claims by a female witness that she and another woman were physically forced into a Madrid hotel room in 2012, and ordered by a pornography baron to perform sexual acts against her will with two footballers.

Iker Muniain is alleged to be one of the players involved, while De Gea is said to have organised the encounter with the unnamed witness, who, in order to protect her identity, was referred to in the police report as "TP3."

"The new girl and TP3 were sexually abused by the men, since if they had said no they were physically abused by both, and once finishing with the sexual desires of both footballers, they made threats that nothing that had occurred in the hotel room should ever come to light," the police report read.

The porn site owner, Ignacio Allende Fernandez, is currently jailed on charges that include child pornography, sexual exploitation, sexual aggression, human trafficking for pornography, extortion and blackmail.
