Adrian likely to miss West Ham's run-in

West Ham United could miss a vital component of its bid for Champions League football following the news that goalkeeper Adrian is suffering from a calf issue.

"It's minor but unfortunately because it's his calf he is probably out for the rest of the season," said manager Slaven Bilic, confirming Adrian reported the problem after a 3-0 win at West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

The 29-year-old Spaniard has only missed three matches this season through suspension, but duties are now likely to be handed to Ireland international Darren Randolph, who performed admirably in six FA Cup outings this season.

"We have a great deputy," continued Bilic. "Whenever he has stepped in, he's been brilliant.

"He's one of the reasons we went far in the FA Cup. He was great against Manchester United, home and away, and Liverpool. We're happy to have him."

West Ham rounds off its campaign with matches against Swansea City, United and Stoke City, and sits five points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City.
