Chelsea unveils 2016-17 home kit

Chelsea revealed its new home kit for the 2016-17 season on Wednesday, adding some distinctive new features to its trademark blue shirt and shorts.

The Adidas kit keeps in line with the new overall look of the brand, with its signature three stripes moved away from the shoulders and running down the side of the shirt instead, under the arm. It also features several Chelsea lions in a pattern across the shirt in a slightly darker shade of blue.

The club will debut the kit in the Women's FA Cup final on May 14, followed by a Premier League fixture against English champions Leicester City in the final match of the 2015-16 season.
