Tim Howard to play Everton's last 2 home games before joining Colorado Rapids
Tim Howard will get his Goodison Park farewell.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez will reward one of the club's longest-serving players with starts in the final two home matches of the season. That means Howard will get the nod for Saturday's fixture against Bournemouth, as well as the May 15 finale against Norwich City. Designated starter Joel Robles, meanwhile, will handle away duties at Leicester City and Sunderland on May 7 and 11, respectively.
The 37-year-old U.S. goalkeeper lost his place in goal to Robles after a series of blunders earlier in the campaign. Howard has since agreed to join the Colorado Rapids in the summer, ending his decade-long association with Everton.

"In our last two home games of the season we will be able to honour and acknowledge the outstanding contribution and unforgettable role that Tim Howard has made to our football club in the last 10 seasons," Martinez said in a statement.
"Tim will be joining the Colorado Rapids at the end of the season but his legacy will live on for many years in the work that he's done, not just on the pitch but in helping young players to understand just what it means and what it takes to be an Everton player."
The last of Howard's 412 appearance for the Toffees came Jan. 24 against Swansea City. He is still contending for the starter's role with the U.S. heading into the Copa America Centenario.
