Fulham signs Algeria defender Halliche
London, England (Sports Network) - Fulham signed Benfica and Algeria defender Rafik Halliche to a three-year deal on Tuesday.
Halliche, 23, spent the last couple years at Nacional on loan from Benfica. He played all three of Algeria's matches at the World Cup, including a 0-0 draw against England.
"I'm so happy that my transfer to Fulham has been finalized," Halliche said on Fulham's website.
""For me, the Premier League is the best league in the world and to be able to play alongside some wonderful players and to be given an opportunity to compete against some fantastic teams for a team like Fulham is something that I've always dreamed of doing."
