Fan Handcuffs Himself To Goal

During today's Everton-Manchester City match, a fan ran onto the field... and handcuffed himself to a goalpost. Play was suspended for four minutes as police had to cut the handcuffs off.  

File this one under the "WTF" category:

Very, very weird, and there's apparently no explanation as to why the man did that.
