The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced Brazil's roster for the upcoming Copa America Centenario competition Thursday, with a few notable names missing from the final 23-man team.

Manager Dunga opted not to select Orlando City captain Kaka, Chelsea attacker Oscar and Juventus left full-back Alex Sandro, despite naming the trio of regulars to the 40-man shortlist at the end of April.

Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa, Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, and Santos striker Gabriel - nicknamed Gabigol by Santos supporters - did make the final cut, while Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho gets the nod in Brazil's coveted No. 10 role.

Barcelona star Neymar was not named to the Brazilian roster or shortlist and will likely only feature in the country's Olympic roster, since the 2016 summer Olympics will be held in Rio de Janeiro.
