Yaya Toure declared 'fit to play' ahead of City's Champions League clash vs. Kyiv

Manchester City will have the luxury of selecting Yaya Toure for its Champions League encounter with Dynamo Kyiv after manager Manuel Pellegrini declared the Ivorian fit to play following his bout with a heel injury.

Toure was forced to miss City's match Saturday in a goalless match against Norwich City where his impact in the midfield was sorely missed.

His inclusion in Tuesday's match has yet to be determined as City gets set to host Kyiv side in its Round of 16 fixture. The Premier League team holds a 3-1 advantage following the first leg in Ukraine.

City's ability to produce a positive result should see the club reach the quarter-final stage of the tournament for the first time in its history.

Pellegrini added that Kevin De Bruyne, Samir Nasri, and Fabian Delph were the only players missing from Monday's training session, but he expects the trio to return to action during the international break, which begins after the Manchester derby on March 20.
