Juan Mata: Converts penalty in victory

Mata converted a penalty in Saturday's 2-0 victory over West Brom.

Analysis:

This was Mata's first spot kick of the season, earned after Gareth McAuley brought down Anthony Martial in the box. The goal was Mata's fourth of the season, but his first since Sept. 26. After a fantastic September that saw him score two goals and tally three assists in just three matches, in October, he was unable to find the score sheet. The 27-year-old is one of the most creative players on the United roster and with how well Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are playing, goals should start coming for the somewhat underwhelming United side.
