FC Porto confirms 2-year contract for Iker Casillas; option for a 3rd season
Reuters
Real Madrid announced Saturday that iconic goalkeeper Iker Casillas would depart the only club he's ever known for FC Porto, and Sunday the Portuguese giants added the final bit of missing information.
Porto, confirming reports that speculated as much earlier in the week, revealed Casillas has signed a two-year contract with the club, adding that the agreement includes a clause "that may allow for a third season."
Though details of that clause were not disclosed, Spanish outlet Marca reports the third season will be added should the 34-year-old shot-stopper make 30 competitive appearances with the Dragons.
