Juventus's Giorgio Chiellini 'bears no grudges' against Luis Suarez

Giorgio Chiellini has put one of the World Cup's most infamous moments behind him, and along with it any ill will towards the perpetrator.

The Juventus defender, speaking ahead of his club's Coppa Italia final against Lazio on Wednesday, was asked about the impending Champions League final with Barcelona, and the potential of playing against Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan made more than a few waves at last year's World Cup when he bit the Italian - an act of violence for which he received a four-month ban.

Chiellini has long maintained that the punishment handed down to the striker was too harsh, and on Tuesday he summed up his attitude towards both Suarez and the incident when asked about next month's encounter.

For someone who was bitten by another human, Chiellini's ability to bury the hatchet is impressive. Of course, if he hadn't, Suarez might have attacked him with that hatchet ...

We jest, we jest. Maybe.
