Paris Saint-Germain lose Sirigu, Aurier to injury in victory over Lille

Paris Saint-Germain took sole possession of top spot in Ligue 1 on Saturday by crushing Lille, 6-1, but the result was not without its casualties.
Both goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and defender Serge Aurier left the contest in the opening half, the former felled by an ankle problem while the Ivorian seemingly suffered a groin injury.
Aurier, meanwhile, sustained his injury after a collision with Lille's Djibril Sidibe - a development made even more disappointing considering the 22-year-old has been limited by injuries all season, derailing what was expected to be a thrilling campaign for one of Europe's most highly regarded young fullbacks.
The club have yet to provide an update on the severity of either ailment.
