UEFA will not take action against players after Tuesday's feisty Champions League affair between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
The European governing body decided not to take disciplinary action against Dani Carvajal despite video showing the Real Madrid defender punching Atletico striker Mario Mandzukic near his ribs.
It was also alleged afterwards that Carvajal bit the striker on the arm moments before the punch. Mandzukic, however, denied reports the following day.
The only incidents UEFA will investigate occurred off the pitch. A field invasion and blocked stairways at the Vicente Calderon will be investigated and judged during a May 21 meeting.
