The Bayern Munich defender has put his side in a terribly difficult situation against Manchester City, picking up a straight red card in just the 20th minute for an ill-timed tackle on striker Sergio Aguero.

To make matters worse, the Moroccan committed the foul inside the area, giving Aguero the opportunity to put his side ahead and give City a massive lifeline in their quest to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.

The Argentine star is good enough on his own, he doesn't need any freebies to pad his stats.
