Germany will be without versatile attacker Andre Schurrle for today's Euro 2016 qualifying match against Ireland.
The Chelsea attacker, who played 78 minutes in the World Cup champions' shocking 2-0 loss to Poland last week, is dealing with a bout of the flu, according to the team's official website.
The absence is the latest in a long line for manager Joachim Low, who is also without the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Benedikt Howedes, Marco Reus and Mario Gomez.
