Analysis:

Toure remained at the club this summer, but after a month of action it appears that he is not in new manager Pep Guardiola's plans at the moment. City spent a significant amount of money this summer to upgrade several positions, including bringing Ilkay Gundogan in for a hefty fee, meaning Toure should move even further down in the pecking order when the former returns this week.
