Benfica is already pining for its departed teenager Renato Sanches, asking his new employer Bayern Munich to look after "our kid."
The German giant laid out €35-million plus potential add-ons in May, before the midfielder exploded into the consciousness of football fans globally with his performances during Portugal's Euro 2016-winning campaign.
Sanches is dubbed as one of the biggest stars for the next decade or so, and a natural successor of Cristiano Ronaldo as the national team's fulcrum.
