Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny: Starts once for Poland during Euro 2016
Szczesny (thigh) started well Euro 2016 with a clean sheet, though, an injury ended prematurely the rest of his campaign and he remained at 27 caps. Poland had a dramatic exit to the tournament after a penalty shoot-out loss to Portugal in the Quarterfinals.
Analysis:
Szczesny had a great campaign playing on-loan with Roma last season. The 26-year-old keeper kept eight clean sheet and hauled in 99 saves while starting all 34 Serie A matches on the way to helping Roma qualify for the Champions League. The Italian side is trying to bring him back with an extended loan spell.
