Arsenal's Mesut Ozil: Returned to training

Ozil (hip) was training with the squad and could be available against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Analysis:

While Ozil's return from injury is certainly good news for Arsenal, his availability for Germany in the European Championship in June is perhaps the bigger story. In EPL contests this year, the midfield booted more than 10 crosses into attacking areas on six separate occasions, including a season high 18 against Southampton. The 27-year-old racked up eight goals and 18 assists for Arsenal in all competitions, which is why the Gunners are eager to lock him into a new contract.
