Chelsea's John Terry: Achieves vow to return this season

Terry returned to action Monday to achieve his vow of playing again this season after an achilles injury, reports the Daily Mail.

Analysis:

The veteran defender looks set to leave Chelsea this summer, but has said in the past that he is hopeful that he can do enough to earn a new deal. His return on Monday helped him make at least one more appearance for the club a Stamford Bridge, but he will have at least one more match there this season should a new contract not be completed.
