U.S. women remain No. 1 in FIFA rankings

Zurich, Switzerland (Sports Network) - The United States remained No. 1 in the latest FIFA Women's World Rankings released Friday.

Germany remains second and Brazil third, as the top nine teams remained in the same spots. Denmark moved up one spot to 10th, as China fell four spots to its lowest-ever ranking at 14th.

Australia made one of the biggest jumps, climbing three spots into a tie with Italy for 11th. Canada dropped two spots to 13th.

The 2011 Women's World Cup will be held in Germany from June 26 to July 17. So far, just three nations have qualified for the World Cup as Australia, Korea DPR and Japan from Asia will join host Germany.
