Travis Lulay won't be hitting the market when free agency opens Tuesday.
The veteran pivot inked a two-year deal Monday to stay with the BC Lions, the organization he has spent his entire CFL career with.
"I have truly loved every moment of my time with the Lions and I’m ecstatic to be staying in BC," said Lulay. "We have great opportunity to be a very competitive team in 2016 and I’m excited to get to work."
Lulay has thrown for nearly 17,000 yards and 101 touchdowns in his seven seasons with the Lions. Had he hit the open market Tuesday, Lulay would have been one of the most sought-after free agents.
