The Toronto Argonauts have extended the contract of Canadian linebacker Thomas Miles through the 2017 season.
Miles finished the 2015 campaign with a career-high 50 tackles, including five tackles for a loss, and one quarterback sack in 11 games. He was the team's 33rd overall pick in the 2014 CFL Draft.
"Thomas has been a solid contributor for us, making an impact on both defence and special teams since we drafted him in 2014," general manager Jim Barker said. "He has proven he is capable of starting in this league and committed to our locker room as we get set for our first season at BMO Field in 2016."
The Argonauts also announced the signing of Canadian offensive lineman Joe Circelli.
