Jennings throws 4 touchdowns as Lions beat up Roughriders
Saturday night was The Jonathon Jennings Show.
The BC Lions rookie quarterback threw four touchdowns, completing 19-of-25 passes for 364 yards as his team took down the Saskatchewan Roughriders 46-20.
The win was the third of the season for the Lions over the Roughriders - call it a sweep. BC's 5-8 after the win, while Saskatchewan dropped to 2-12.
Other Lions to have big games were running back Andrew Harris, who rushed for 100 yards on only 13 carries, and wide receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux, who caught four passes - two of them touchdowns - for 137 yards.
Jennings didn't only star throwing the football. He caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Austin Collie, too, in the third, making it 39-5 BC at the time. It was that kind of night.
Saskatchewan scored 15 points in the fourth quarter, but Jennings made sure the game was over by the time the final frame began.
