The Saskatchewan Roughriders weathered a late Montreal Alouettes push as they cruised to a 33-21 victory Sunday.

The Roughriders controlled the majority of the game, limiting the Alouettes to just five points through the first three quarters. Montreal stormed back with 16 points in the final quarter, but ultimately came up short.

Defensive back Macho Harris was the story of the game for the Roughriders. The 29-year-old had three interceptions, running one back for a touchdown.

Kevin Glenn went 14-for-31 throwing for 212 yards and a touchdown in the win, while Rakeem Cato and Jonathan Crompton combined for 267 yards and only one touchdown for Montreal.

With the win the Roughriders improve to 2-11 on the season. Meanwhile, the Alouettes fall to 5-7.
