Classic, this one was not.

The Calgary Stampeders prevailed by a score of 16-7 over the rival Edmonton Eskimos on Monday, taking the annual Labour Day affair while, more importantly, strengthening their hold on the West Division.

The highlight of the game came courtesy of a rabbit. Seriously.

The lone touchdown of the game came on a Bo Levi Mitchell 10-yard pass to Greg Wilson, while Rene Paredes added to Calgary's point total with three field goals. Mitchell went 24-36 for 251 yards, with an interception to go along with the touchdown.

On the Edmonton side of the ball, the Eskimos were held out of the end zone, with two field goals and a single point on a punt from Sean Whyte to their credit.

Calgary improves to 8-2, while the second-place Eskimos drop to 6-4.
