RedBlacks and Stamps collide in battle of divisonal juggernauts

Two of the CFL's top squads will meet Saturday night as the Ottawa RedBlacks head to McMahon Stadium for an inter-divisional encounter with the Calgary Stampeders.

The RedBlacks have exceeded expectations this season with a 4-2 record after finishing the 2014 campaign 2-16.

They defeated the defending Grey Cup champions 29-26 in Week 5 in overtime.

Forty-year-old quarterback Henry Burris is the only starter besides Hamilton's Zach Collaros who's remained healthy this season. The durable Burris has recorded 1,695 passing yards and nine touchdowns.

Bo Levi Mitchell and his Stampeders continue to be one of the league's most threatening squads, even without elusive running back and three-time CFL MOP Jon Cornish.

Defensive lineman Charleston Hughes has his Burris assignment highlighted. He'll look to topple the veteran signal-caller off the snap, as Hughes leads the league in sacks with six.

The Stamps defeated the Montreal Alouettes in Week 6, and are coming in rested off a Week 7 bye.

The second match between the teams gets underway from Calgary at 10:00 p.m. ET.
