Ticats put win streak on the line against Lions

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will put their three-game winning streak to the test against the BC Lions on Saturday at Tim Hortons Field.

The Ticats have the most potent offense in the league. They've scored 191 total points, with Zach Collaros - just one of two starting quarterbacks still healthy this season - currently second in passing yards with 1,724.

Kicker Justin Medlock has contributed 65 points of his own, going 15-for-17 on field goals and 18-for-18 on points after conversion.

The Leos, finally able to muster some offense in the second half of a game, surged to come back against the Edmonton Eskimos in Week 7 at BC Place, squeaking by 26-23.

They continue relying offensively on the tandem of Travis Lulay and Andrew Harris. Meanwhile, linebackers Adam Bighill and Solomon Elimimian reign as the league's two best tacklers, having recorded 46 and 41, respectively.

The Lions will look to build off the win and climb atop the west division alongside the Esks and Calgary Stampeders, who both have four wins and eight points.

The Ticats are tied for first in the east with the Ottawa RedBlacks and Toronto Argonauts.

The Cats have remained perfect at home this season, going 2-0-0. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
