After the first quarter, the game was already out of reach - and by half it was over, as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats marched to a huge 38-8 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Sunday.

The Ticats opened with three touchdowns in the first quarter - all within a span of 5:33 - to take a commanding 21-0 lead before the game was even 15 minutes old. They would add 10 more points in the second, taking a 31-0 lead to half-time.

Zach Collaros threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns in the win, while Drew Willy threw for 171 yards and one touchdown before leaving the game late in the third quarter with an apparent leg injury.

With the win the Ticats improve to 2-0 at Tim Horton's Field and join the Toronto Argonauts and Ottawa RedBlacks atop the East Division with a 4-2 record. Meanwhile the Bombers fall to 3-4 on the season.
