Argonauts sign 2 draft picks, 2 imports

The Toronto Argonauts announced four signings Friday in Canadian draft picks Kevin Bradfield and Dan MacDonald, and imports Chuck Hunter and Gregory Van Roten.

Bradfield is a Toronto-native, having played wide receiver and kick returner for the University of Toronto. He was taken in the seventh round of the 2015 CFL Draft (55th overall). In his four seasons of university football, Bradfield ran 603 yards on 48 receptions for two touchdowns, catching 37 kick returns for 498 yards.

MacDonald was taken one pick after Bradfield in the recent CFL draft (56th overall), and played for the University of Guelph as a long snapper.

Defensive lineman Chuck Hunter played four seasons at Texas Christian University, recording seven sacks, 102 tackles, one forced fumble, and a single fumble recovery. He appeared at the Indianapolis Colts' recent mini-camp.

Offensive lineman Van Roten spent time with a number of NFL clubs including the San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers, and Seattle Seahawks. He dressed in 10 career NFL games, all with the Packers.

The Argos also released wide receiver Mark Harrison.
