The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced the signing of Canadian long snapper Jorgen Hus.
Hus is a native of Saskatoon, completing his collegiate career at the University of Regina. The Edmonton Eskimos drafted Hus 31st overall in the 2013 CFL draft. Hus never reported to Edmonton, instead spending time in the NFL with the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs.
Hus' playing rights and a third-round draft pick were acquired from the Eskimos on May 11 in exchange for wide receiver Cory Watson and a second-round pick in 2016.
