The B.C. Lions announced the signings of import defensive linemen Tim Jackson, Jamarkus McFarland and Andre Monroe.

Jackson previously played with North Carolina of the NCAA, where he gathered 33 defensive tackles and one sack in 45 games. Jackson attended the Carolina Panthers' training camp last year after signing as an undrafted free agent, but was ultimately waived.

McFarland accumulated 38 tackles and six sacks in 47 games while playing for the University of Oklahoma Sooners. He went undrafted, eventually signing with the San Diego Chargers. Though, he was unable to solidify a roster spot.

The negotiation rights to Andre Monroe were acquired via trade with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Monroe played four years with the University of Maryland Terrapins, dressing 35 times while compiling 22 sacks and 70 tackles - 32 resulting in a loss.

The three defensive lineman will arrive in Kamloops next week for Leos mini-camp, starting on Thursday, May 28.
