Bombers sign 2 draft picks, 1 import

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed fullback Chris Normand, defensive lineman Ettore Lattanzio and import receiver Justin Veltung.

The 23-year-old Normand went 33rd overall in the 2015 CFL Draft. The fullback played the past four seasons with Laval, running for 65 yards in 11 carries in 2014.

Defensive lineman Lattanzio - the 38th overall draft pick in the 2015 CFL Draft - dressed in eight games for the University of Ottawa in 2014. Lattanzio registered 29 defensive tackles (14 for a loss), eight sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Wide receiver Veltung played his collegiate career with the University of Idaho, where he recorded 62 receptions for 901 yards and eight touchdowns. Veltung also served as a kick returner, catching 80 kickoffs for 1,743 yards - two of them resulted in touchdowns. Veltung also shared time with the Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams in 2013 before signing with the Blue Bombers.
