Toronto Argonauts General Manager Jim Barker is hopeful his starting quarterback Ricky Ray will be ready to begin throwing by training camp.
Barker remarked on the condition of Ray early this week, commenting on the progress Ray has shown over the past few months.
"Ricky has worked hard this off-season and our medical staff has informed us that they are very happy with his progress to date," said Barker.
Barker said that in the coming weeks, Ray will continuously augment his rehabilitation with more intensity, however, Barker says they are committed to ensuring that his shoulder is fully recovered before Ray hits the field.
