The Toronto Argonauts may finally find a new home.

TSN's Dave Naylor and Rick Westhead are reporting that Bell and Larry Tanenbaum, two members of the MLSE ownership group, are in discussion to purchase the team and move it to BMO Field in time for the 2016 season.

The sale is "nearing completion" according to Toronto city councillor Mark Grimes. A deal would have to be completed soon in order for BMO Field, home of MLS club Toronto FC, to be ready by next summer.

Bell and Tanenbaum are also reported to have secured the rights to host two Grey Cups in the next 10 years to help offset the cost of purchasing the team and altering BMO Field accordingly.

The move is welcome news for the CFL and Argonauts fans, as a new ownership group and new stadium have long thought to be necessary for the Argonauts to become relevant in the city of Toronto once again. The Argos rank last in the CFL in paid attendance.
