TORONTO - A career-best outing earned Marquay McDaniel the CFL's offensive player of the week honour Tuesday.

The Calgary receiver had 12 catches for 165 yards in the club's season-ending 33-16 win over the B.C. Lions. McDaniel and the Stampeders finished the regular season with a league-best 15-3 record to finish atop the West.

Calgary will host the division final Nov. 23.

Stampeders defensive back Keon Raymond and rookie defensive lineman Quinn Smith also secured individual honours.

Raymond was named the top defensive player after recording seven tackles, an interception, a special-teams tackle and forced fumble against B.C. The seven-year veteran ended the season with five interceptions — one off the league lead — and 46 tackles.

Smith captured top Canadian honours after posting three sacks against the Lions. The six-foot-two 300-pound Smith, a Toronto native, had 10 tackles and four sacks in his first CFL campaign.

Toronto Argonauts kicker Swayze Waters received the special-teams honour. Waters booted three field goals and had a punting average of 47.6 yards in the club's season-ending 23-5 home win over Ottawa.
