Trevor Harris's 1st CFL start a must-win scenario for Argonauts
TORONTO - Trevor Harris doesn't have the luxury of easing into his first CFL start.
Harris will make his CFL starting debut Friday night when the Toronto Argonauts host the expansion Ottawa Redblacks.
Harris replaces veteran Ricky Ray, who won't play after suffering a concussion in last weekend's 17-14 loss to the Montreal Alouettes.
Toronto (7-10) would be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss to Ottawa (2-15).
But the Argos must not only beat Ottawa, but also have Montreal defeat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday in order to clinch a post-season berth.
Toronto is the only CFL team not to have beat Ottawa this season.
The Redblacks defeated the Argos 18-17 in their home opener on July 18 in the only other meeting this year between the two clubs.
