Welcome to the seventh installment of "The 140," theScore's new CFL Power Rankings, where we break down each team in 140 characters or fewer. Because that's all the time you've got.

1. Calgary Stampeders, 11-2 (Last Week: 1)

Jon Cornish is 2nd in the CFL in rushing despite missing 7 games, which is why Calgary retains its spot at the top without Bo Levi Mitchell.

2. Edmonton Eskimos, 9-4 (Last Week: 3)

John White's return to the lineup gives Edmonton a running game and the defense recorded 6 sacks in a shutout against Saskatchewan.

3. Hamilton Tiger-Cats, 5-7 (Last Week: 4)

Hamilton's 1st road victory of 2014 extended its winning streak to 3 games. The defence leads the East in points allowed and interceptions.

4. Saskatchewan Roughriders, 9-4 (Last Week: 2)

Scoring points is a struggle without Darian Durant and will be even more difficult without Taj Smith, especially against Calgary on Friday.

5. Montreal Alouettes, 5-8 (Last Week: 6)

A two-game winning streak masks concerns about Montreal's offence, but a bye will give the Alouettes time to get their playbook in order.

6. BC Lions, 7-6 (Last Week: 5)

Kevin Glenn needs to be better than his 14 interceptions implies, because the Lions can no longer run their offence through Andrew Harris.

7. Toronto Argonauts, 4-8 (Last Week: 7)

Toronto is at its healthiest point all season coming off a bye week, but that needs to translate into more wins for the former East leaders.

8. Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 6-7 (Last Week: 8)

Not even the return of Drew Willy could halt Winnipeg's skid, which reached 4 games. The Blue Bombers are 1-5 against West Division foes.

9. Ottawa Redblacks, 1-11 (Last Week: 9)

A 9-game losing streak should be expected when you score 15 points per contest.
