Vince Young applies to trademark 'Make Vince Great Again'

Vince Young is serious about his professional football comeback.

The former third overall draft pick is so serious, in fact, that he's applied to trademark the phrase "Make Vince Great Again."

Young has been out of the NFL since 2011, but last week, he reportedly entered into contract negotiations with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders.

If the now-33-year-old finds success on the football field after six years away, it would make an excellent story. But Young never truly achieved greatness in the NFL, so his hope to be "great again" likely refers to his stellar collegiate career at Texas that ended with a memorable win in the 2005 Rose Bowl.
