The Toronto Argonauts have agreed to terms on a restructured contract with quarterback Drew Willy, according to a report from The Canadian Press.
Financial terms of the deal are unknown, although it extends Willy's contract through the 2018 season. He was reportedly set to earn a $100,000 bonus later this month prior to the restructuring.
The Argos acquired Willy in a trade with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in September, sending linebacker T.J. Heath as well as a 2017 first-round pick and 2018 third-round pick in return.
Willy played four games for Toronto after the trade, completing 77-of-113 passes for 681 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.
