The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be without Chad Owens for the foreseeable future, as the club placed the star slotback on the 6-game injured list Friday.
Owens suffered an apparent foot injury in last week's victory over the Montreal Alouettes, which is serious enough to warrant a trip to the injured list.
The former Toronto Argonauts standout is second on the Ti-Cats with 58 catches for 808 yards.
Hamilton travels to face the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday.
