Dan LeFevour will go for an encore Saturday when the Toronto Argonauts visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Argos pivot had quite the debut for the Double Blue last weekend, throwing for 329 yards in a win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

"I don’t know if people realize what he did and how difficult that is to do, having zero reps going into the week, having thrown with our receivers very little. I thought he was fantastic," Argos head coach Scott Milanovich told Chris O'Leary of the Toronto Star.

Still, that performance wasn't enough to stop the Argos from acquiring quarterback Drew Willy from the Bombers. Willy won't start against his old team this weekend, but if LeFevour falters, he could get a chance to claim the job until Ricky Ray gets back.

The Bombers, on the other hand, have no issues at quarterback. Matt Nichols has guided the Bombers to six straight wins after taking over for Willy, throwing for six touchdowns and only one interception during that stretch.

Winnipeg has vaulted past the Edmonton Eskimos for third place in the West thanks to the streak, and sit just game behind the BC Lions.

The Blue Bombers defeated the Argos 34-17 last month in the first meeting between the two teams this season.
