Argos, Tiger-Cats look to end slides in Labour Day Classic
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argos sit second and third, respectively, in the Eastern Division, but things aren't that rosy for either team.
Both squads are 4-5 and come into the Labour Day Classic playing anything but their best football. The Argos have dropped three straight while the Ti-Cats have lost three of their past four games.
It's hard to blame Zach Collaros for the struggles, though, as the pivot has tossed 10 touchdowns and only one interception to go along with 1,151 yards passing since his return.
The Hamilton defense on the other hand, hasn't been nearly as sharp. The Ti-Cats have conceded 119 points in their past four outings.
That should be welcomed news to the Argos, who haven't been able to generate much offense during their losing streak. Toronto's managed only 53 points in the past three weeks.
The return of Ricky Ray from a knee injury didn't pay dividends last week, as the Argos scored just 13 points in a loss to the BC Lions.
Hamilton has won four of the last five meetings between the two sides on Labour Day.
