The wait for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats may finally come to an end in Week 8. Zach Collaros appears ready to lead again.

The long-awaited return of the Ti-Cats' No. 1 quarterback has been anticipated for the last seven weeks, and according to Matthew Scianitti of TSN, Collaros appears to be slotted in to take first-team reps in practice heading into Saturday's game against the BC Lions.

Collaros has been sidelined since he tore his ACL during a game Sept. 19 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. At the time of the injury, Collaros had recorded 3,376 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes in just 12 starts in 2015.

Hamilton would surely welcome a return from its prized quarterback Saturday, as the Ti-Cats look to move up from third place in the Eastern Division.
