Alouettes extend Bowman through 2017

John Bowman will be staying in Montreal for at least another year.
The Alouettes announced Tuesday they have inked the pass-rusher to a contract extension through the 2017 season. Terms were not disclosed.
Bowman is one of the most productive defensive ends in league history, posting a whopping 106 career sacks.
A two-time Grey Cup champion, the 34-year-old led the CFL with 19 sacks in 2015. Bowman sits at four sacks thus far this season.
