Argos host Alouettes in search of 1st win at BMO Field
The confines of BMO Field have yet to be friendly to the Toronto Argonauts.
Toronto is 0-2 at its new digs, as the Double Blue are already behind the eight ball in the Eastern Division after losses to Ottawa and Hamilton. The Montreal Alouettes come to town Monday night, giving the Argos another chance to get off the schneid at home.
Scott Milanovich and Co. will continue to lean on veteran quarterback Ricky Ray, who appears to have put his shoulder injuries behind him. The 36-year-old has thrown for six touchdowns to only one interception this season.
Montreal's quarterback situation isn't as clear cut. The Als have managed just 20 points over their past two outings, as Rakeem Cato struggled filling in for an injured Kevin Glenn. Without S.J. Green, who is sidelined with a knee injury for the rest of the season, it's going to be a challenge for whoever is behind centre for the Alouettes.
The teams split their two meetings last season and the loser of Monday's contest will find themselves in the Eastern Division basement.
