The Montreal Alouettes have posted the lowest scoring offence in the CFL through the first three weeks of the regular season, and the potential loss of Kevin Glenn will not do them any favours.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will enter Percival Molson Memorial Stadium on Friday and look to take down the Alouettes and move out of the basement of the East division. Montreal has been outscored so far this season 42-35.

Montreal head coach Jim Popp has not yet ruled Glenn out of the starting lineup, but backup quarterback Rakeem Cato stated Wednesday that he will be the man under centre come Friday night.

Popp also announced wide receiver Duron Carter is expected to play Friday despite rumours of suffering a concussion.

Hamilton's Jeremiah Masoli has been serviceable in the absence of Zach Collaros, who returned to practice Monday. Masoli is ranked third in the league in passing yards with 933 and is tied for second in touchdown passes with five.

Hamilton's receiving duo of Andy Fantuz and Luke Tasker look to continue their prominent starts as statistically two of the top receivers thus far this season, while John Bowman has been a lone bright spot on defence for the Alouettes with two sacks through two games.

Montreal will need to step up the offence in order to stay with the Tiger-Cats. Both teams are vying for their second win of the season.
