Winnipeg Blue Bombers receiver Weston Dressler will miss Friday night's tilt against the Calgary Stampeders due to the apparent head injury he suffered in the season opener.
"He isn't quite there," Blue Bombers coach Mike O'Shea said Wednesday, according to Mitch Rosset of Global News. "If it was a home game, you maybe have another day. But because we're travelling tomorrow, we have to make the decision now."
Dressler notched three receptions for 22 yards in Week 1 versus the Montreal Alouettes before sustaining the injury that forced him from the game.
Dressler came to Winnipeg as a major free-agent acquisition from the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the offseason.
