The Ottawa RedBlacks lost quarterback Henry Burris against the Edmonton Eskimos in Week 1 and the pivot will not play against Montreal on Thursday.

No problem for the RedBlacks. Backup Trevor Harris was sensational against the Eskimos, completing 17-of-19 for 292 yards and three touchdowns in the RedBlacks' 45-37 overtime win.

The Montreal Alouettes were also victorious in Week 1, beating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 22-14. Quarterback Kevin Glenn spread the ball out to seven different receivers on 30-of-42 passing for 332 yards and one touchdown.

Harris and the RedBlacks will have to navigate the Alouettes' defence which shut down Drew Willy and the Blue Bombers offence, sacking Willy five times and causing one forced fumble.

Receiver Chris Williams was equally as impressive as Harris for the RedBlacks, snagging eight passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

Since Ottawa returned to the CFL in 2014, both franchises have swept the season series. Montreal did it in 2014, while Ottawa returned the favour last year. The game gets underway at 7 p.m. ET Thursday from Molson Stadium.
