Eskimos' Prude leaves game in ambulance
Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - Edmonton Eskimos defensive back Ronnie Prude left Friday's game in an ambulance after receiving a neck injury during a tackle.
Early in the third quarter, Prude lowered his head as he hit Saskatchewan Roughriders wide receiver Terence Jeffers-Harris and immediately fell to the ground.
He stayed down motionless for several minutes before medical personnel placed him on a stretcher and into an ambulance that was brought onto the field.
Prude was able to move his feet while he was getting looked at by the medical staff and he was also moving his arms as he was rolled into the ambulance.
